The Hotel

The “Gasthaus Ratsstuben” is a so called “Pommersches Haus” and it was built in the second half of the 15th century. The extension was completed in the 17th century. The house was the domicile of the Privilegierten Uracher Leinwandhandlungs Companie (“Privileged Canvas Trade Company of Urach”)

The beautiful Stuckdecke (dated 1681, under historical preservation protection) in the entrance area of the future restaurant, gives evidence of that. Since July 2007 there are 16 guest rooms allotted to 2 floors.
